The Alcazar of Seville will be stage of the Wizard of Oz, an American series that reinterpret the classic novel by L. Frank Baum, and to be broadcast by NBC.
The shooting of the series is scheduled at the end of this year, which will last several days. The Real Alcazar is a key stage for the series, where different scenes of the story will be recorded, having begun filming in other European and Spanish cities.

The Wizard of Oz will tell the story of Dorothy Gale, a girl of 23 who will be surprised by a strong tornado, and that will lead to an eerie place dominated by a powerful wizard has banned magic and has imposed his wishes on numerous kingdoms.
The Wizard of Oz series will be directed by Tarsem Singh and produced by Shaun Cassidy and David Schulner.
