The loneliness of La Roldana in Seville
The Theatre Lope de Vega in Seville will host from 8 to 11 April the play The loneliness of La Roldana by the company La Tarasca.
The company La Tarasca is responsible of the assembly of this play based on the novel by the historian Arsenio Moreno Mendoza, "By the gloomy corridors of the Alcazar". The play is directed and adapted by Ramón Bocanegra and tells the story of Luisa Roldán, a sculptor of the Baroque, better known as La Roldana.
The protagonists of the play are Cristina Almazan (La Roldana), María Varod (Luisa Roldán) Cellia Vioque (Luisa), Inma Font (Eugenia)Juanjo Macias (Francesillo) and Paco Pérez (Don Francisco).
