Opera Fidelio by Ludwig Van Beethoven in October 2017

Although its release on November 20, 1805 was not entirely successful, since Beethoven had no experience in this type of works, over the years and various modifications made this work a true work of art.

With four overtures, Fidelio is the opera with more overtures in the history of music. Today they are known as Leonora no. 1, Leonora no. 2, Leonora no. 3 and Fidelio overture, the latter being generally interpreted. The work is related to the singspiel, that is to say, an opera in German with spoken dialogues. It is characterized by its energetic, dramatic score, with dark tints but which lead to light.
