Blog New Planetarium in Seville

Since last November 1, 2018, you can visit the new 360º immersive planetarium in the Seville Navigation Pavilion.

PLANETARY IMMERSIVE 360º

The cultural company Engranajes Ciencia launches this 360º immersive cinema activity, which consists of a geodesic dome almost 7 meters in diameter with aluminum frame and negative pressure technology, providing a perfectly hemi-spherical screen. It has a projector with fish eye lens that allows the projection of fulldome 360º content, turning it into a totally immersive audiovisual experience.

They have the possibility to enjoy three different sessions of 45 minutes each:

- The Life of Trees (from 5 years old): shows the importance of plants for life on Earth, how trees grow, how they transport water against gravity to the top of their canopy and allow diversity of life on Earth producing oxygen.

- Kaluka'hina, the Enchanted Reef (from 3 years): the protagonists have to realize the most exciting adventure of all time that is to save their beloved reef.

- Exploring the Solar System (from 6 years old): it transports the spectators to an extraordinary trip in different scenarios of the Solar System so that they themselves can see and feel in the first person the environment closest to our planet.

All sessions are in Spanish and are played on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition, by presenting your ticket, you can buy the ticket to the permanent exhibition of the Navigation Pavilion at a reduced price.
