QUIDAM embarks on a new adventure , captivating the senses of the audience with his production , but now in arenas throughout North America. The cast gives us 52 acrobats , musicians , singers and characters, all world class. Compared to any other show presented by Cirque du Soleil does not lead the viewer into an imaginary world of surprises and magic , in contrast , shows an emanation of his own world , inhabited by real people , warts and relevant problems on the planet.
Also, this is the first show that made ??up everyday wear costumes tailored clothing for acrobatic acts . The colors used for costumes are derived from a range of blues to pinks, creating a dramatic effect that adds detail to the mysterious atmosphere of the show. Also, all footwear is hand-painted to match the colors of the costumes . This shoe is retouched and painted before each show.
As for the music of Benoit Jutras is passionate and intense . This music is performed live by six musicians playing a variety of instruments such as the violin , cello , percussion, saxophone , classical and electric guitars, and keyboards. On the set, invoking monolithic structures such as a train station or airport, where people come and go, the set of ' Quidam ' is dominated by a large bow.
