September is Flamenco

 

September is Flamenco is a new series of concerts of flamenco, created as an alternative to the odd years when the Bienal de Flamenco is not celebrated. This cycle will take place from 8 to 20 September 2015.

 

The sites chosen to host the shows in September is Flamenco are the Torre Don Fadrique in Espacio Santa Clara, recently restored for this purpose, the Real Alcázar, Maestranza Theatre and Lope de Vega Theatre.

 

More flamenco in Seville in September

 

An extensive program of flamenco shows that for 23 days will fill the different spaces with artists like Pastora Galván, Ana Morales, Rancapinos, Antonio Rey and Andres Marin, acting all in the Torre Don Fadrique.

 

In the Real Alcazar you can enjoy the art of Arcangel and Bulgarian Voices with their show Estuna, El Güito, El Potito and La Macanita who will join in an evening of song and dance; Jesus Mendez, Diego del Morao and Manuel Parrilla, José Menese, Argentina, Milagros Mengíbar, Aurora Vargas and Pansequito. After the success in the Bienal de Flamenco, it will rise again to the stage Jose de la Tomasa and the Baroque Orchestra of Seville with Flamenco Sacro.

 

The Lope de Vega Theatre will host the Inaugural Gala of delivery of Giraldillo Awards, whose winners in the latest edition of the Bienal de Flamenco are Manuel Valencia, the Flamenco Ballet of Andalusia, Antonio Reyes, Farruquito, El Lebrijano, Miguel Angel Cortes, Rafael Riqueni, posthumously, Enrique Morente.

 

The closing ceremony will be at the MaestranzaTheatre by Eva Yerbabuena with her show Ay.

 

The ticket prices range from 10-40 euros in the Maestranza and Lope de Vega Theater, where the shows start from 20:30. While the Alcázar and Torre Don Fadrique maintain a single price of 25 euros, beginning performances at 22:00.
