Blog Sevilla possible WTO Headquarters in 2025

Seville City Council has decided to present the city as the official headquarters of the World Tourism Organization ( WTO) in 2025, special date because it is held the 50th anniversary of this organization. The Mayor of Sevilla, Juan Ignacio Zoido, bet heavily on this, and has stated that it will submit a winning project and a strong candidate for the next decade.

  This fact would make Seville in the world capital of tourism in 2025. This should be carried out initiatives to foster the development of the city in the long term , focusing on cough in tourism. Seville City Council with the collaboration of Sevillian working within the tourism industry and well known this world. These partners believe strongly in the project, with the advantage that there are still ten years ahead to strengthen the nomination. Seville has some important bases, the human capital, the most important thing. Furthermore, in the city were held enormous prestige international events with great success. Also, Seville has the legacy of the Universal Exhibition held in 1929 and 1992, as well as the use of Cartuja Island, with the science and technology park. To all this must be added the positive increase in tourists in 2013, a 3.31 % increase in visitors compared to the year 2012, making a total of more than two million tourists in 2013.
