Seville receives the III International Guitar Festival 2014, from 1st October to 28th November. The different performances will be offered in different places of the province, due to the high demand and the wide range of possibilities to choose. These include the Province House, Ground Zero Theatre Hall, the Academy of Fine Arts in Seville, or the Monastery of San Isidoro del Campo, Santiponce.
As the schedule of the performances is concerned, all of them will be at 20:30 pm, except on 30th September, that will be at 20:00 pm; 28th November, that will be at 21:00 pm in order to close the festival . Admission is free, except for occasional days that are indicated on the calendar.
Paco de Lucia Guitar
There is a new feature in this third edition. The festival will be named "... in memoriam, Paco de Lucía". It will be dedicated to the great guitarist, who has recently died. It will include a flamenco recital at Sala Zero, "Homage to Paco de Lucía".
