Wangari, the tree girl in SevilleThe TNT Centre in Seville will host on 21 and 22 June, the children's play "Wangari, the tree girl" by Itziar Pascual. The company Karlik Danza Teatro comes to Seville to represent this play directed by Cristina D. Silveira which tells the story of Wangari Maathai, a Kenyan girl who discovers very young the beauty of the Earth and the cycles of life and death. She learned from her mother to plant seeds, and learned from her great grandmother to be patient to see those seeds grow. But she will also discover that money does great damage to the Earth. Elena Sánchez, Cristina Pérez, Elena Lucas and Amelia David are the protagonists of this play of one hour of duration.
