Blog World Premiere of the Musical 'THE DOCTOR' in Seville 2018

The world premiere of the Musical 'THE DOCTOR' will take place from 20 to 23 December 2018 at FIBES Seville. 20 to 21 function will begin at 20.30 hours and days 22 and 23 hours will be at 2200 hours.

The musical is based on the popular novel "The doctor" written by Noah Gordon. The show has a duration of 2 hours and 45 minutes with a break and is directed by Mike Ashcroft.

After the success achieved at the global level by the novel and the film based on the same, Seville becomes the musical to make its debut around the world.

The musical will be interpreted by more than 80 musicians live and will feature a cast of artists with a great track record.

The novel of Noah Gordon was published in 1986 and has become one of the most widely read worldwide bestsellers. The argument is the life of Rob. J Cole an orphan who becomes cirujano-barbero by chance and discovers his vocation as a doctor. Rob. J Cole will travel to Persia to meet the best doctors of the time: Avicenna and Ibn Sina. During the journey he meets Mary, an impossible love that will make him choose between her and his vocation as a doctor.
