This singular building, which was in its time the Peru pavilion open to the public in the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929 in Seville, is what we know today as the home of science, located in the pavilions zone of the aforementioned exhibition at María Luisa park. His illustrious architect originally from Córdoba, Manuel Piqueras Cotolí; who by this and other great works, embodied the fusion of different styles making the pavilion an architectural landmark of this city.

Pavilion of Peru, now known House of Science 

With different influences in its style, mixing indigenous culture, which is manifested in its high steps to the temples by eloquence; miscegenation in the combination of stone and brick on all facades and Spanish Baroque which is distinguished in the main facade with the front of the altarpiece. Until the late sixties, the Peru pavilion was the official headquarters of the director organism of the Iberoamerican Exhibition Fair and also considered the exhibitor pavilion; The eighties years after the restoration hosted of the Doñana Biological Station . From 2008 to date, the Peru pavilion is divided into two parts, one being the famous House of Science of Seville which is dedicated to disclose everything that relates to scientific sciences and environmental and the other part occupies the Peru consulate.
